Has anybody here heard of the "Unicorn" ?
This was some kind of m**net** device which you could use to vanish and produce. I believe it was sold over in Great Britain several years ago. The company apparently is no longer in business.
Not sure though. It sounded very interesting.

Hi Blsorg,

It is cool that someone here knows of the unicorn coin vanish. My name is Tony Chris and I was the one who invented that particular vanish about 12 years ago.

I had sold the exclusive selling rights to it to Mr. Alan Mann of England and his magic shop was called the Wizards Den. He was a lovely fellow indeed. I marketed it under my stage name of Antonios Zacharia. I still use it to this day in my close up roving magic. I still have the effects and will be re-releasing it soon. I will also post some video from my accompanyment video "The Unicorn Coin Vanish" on youtube in the next few weeks so look for it there. You will be able to construct one just by watching the YouTube video.

I am planning to re-release this effect in the next year and still have plenty of them left in stock as well as the accompanyment videos.

Here is my old webpage which I have left up for the last 7 years or so.

Here is a link to a forum of it.

I will let you know when I have posted the entire accompanyment video on youtube.
Bye for now,
Tony

I had this effect when I first staarted doing magic. It was a nice vanish, but I didn't like the angles. I also recall seeing the same idea in an effect by Richard Robinson on the allmagic website.

Its shaky, the angles are sometimes hard to cover, but overall not a bad trick!

Hi guys,

I finally got around to uploading a 10 minute video trailer of my vanishing coin effect, The Unicorn. It is the companion video to my trick that I released 10 years ago and I know a few of you were inquiring if it exhisted.

I created and released this effect over 10 years ago and it was sold exclusively through the Wizards Den in Great Britain and Perfect Magic in Montreal.

The video was filmed over 10 years ago so please keep that in mind and it was not released in North America.

So if you fellows wish to see for the first time ever, the north American premiere of my Unicorn trick, here is the youtube video link.

Please remember that this coin vanish was meant as a close up trick to be performed for one or two people at a time.

As far as angles, there is a very clever method on how to perform it completely surrounded towards the end of the youtube video.

You can click on the "watch in high quality button" for best viewing.

I hope you enjoy it.
