Can someone give a review on this. I saw it at The Magic Warehouse and it looks interesting and a good variety on the tricks taught.
Is this any good? I did a search and not much had been discussed on it. Thanks for any help. Brian |

Just bringing it back to the top before I buy. I'm not familiar with Mark Mason. Is he a good magi/teacher?
I know that he and JBMagic have a few products out but I've never purchased any. Also I know he's a UK guy, does he have a heavy accent, will I be able to clearly understand him? Thanks for any info. Brian |

Actually we had him lecture at the Magic Club in Hamilton, Ont. and he is quite good.
He does not have that thick of an accent so he is easily understood. I have the DVD that you speak of and the things he does are quite do-able. He does a variation of the classic force that for him works quite well. Must admit I have not used it. As the cover of the DVD states, it is the things he has been doing for years in his close up work. It can be useable but the question would be would you use it. Not knowing your experience and you interests I can only say, you do get 2 DVD's and they are good solid magic. |

Hi MysticTraveler and welcome to the Café'.
Could you go into more detail on the material being usable. The tricks listed, card to wallet, 3 fly, thought of card, etc are good tricks and ones I'd like to learn but are his methods unconventional and not likely to be used by the average magi? It seems that most DVD's don't have the variety these do that's why they interest me, but I hate buying subpar material and I can't find much info on these so I don't know if that means they're not that great? |

Highly recommended. Strong material, interesting thinking, and well within the range of the average magician.

There are not ground breaking new efects on the DVD but more variations on classics. The tricks are very practical and will work great in the real world. From this side: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Thanks I've ordered this morning from Magic Proshop for 30 bucks with free shipping. Seems like a great deal for the type and variety of material that is taught. Plus it's 2 DVDs.
I should have them in a few days and I'll post my take on them. Thanks for the help! Brian |

There is a great deal of wonderful magic on these DVD's. He's quite the clever thinker, our boy across the pond!!

I'm reviving this post to add my two cents. These are among my favorite DVDs (and I own a lot). Mark's Card to Wallet is outstanding and very entertaining. Mark is every bit as funny and clever in person as he is on the DVDs. Highly recommend all of his stuff.

I like Mark's 2 Glass Transposition and Card in Wallet (Mark's take on AC plot) as well as Coin Through Table.
