Get ready for a whole new series of Doctor Who guys, - except this time the BBC have decided to use 21st century special effects instead of bubblewrap and cardboard. It's lookin' REALLY good. "Whovians" the world over rejoice!
See: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ (Some great video clips). |

It really depends, is it actually going to be good? Time will tell. By C. Baker and McCoy the stories were stale (after that many years who can cotinue to be fresh?) I have always had a love for Hartnell, forging new ground with a host of new foes, is the way to go.
Will we see the new regeneration? Will it be from the movie Doctor? or will McCoy regenerate again? Shawn

I never cared for the show.
I thought the premise was great, and I am a big sci-fi fan. Dr. Who could have been great, but the lack of special effects made the villans rather unbelievable. Made today It should be better

Just seen the first programme. 45 minutes went like 5 minutes. To describe it with one word - "bullseye"!

Hi Jones,
I thought it was just the script that was leaked? You mean the whole thing was put out there? Shawn

Funny how when there is a show that ends up starring several different actors that all end up playing the same character over a period of time the one you first watched as a child becomes imprinted as the best one for you. In my case it was Tom Baker. No matter how good the other actors were he will always be Dr. Who to me.

Time to break the scarf out of storage! =)
There she was, a dodgy old prune in a tiara, rushing at me waving a sword. Do all knights suffer this whilst being made?

Baker and all of Davisons run as the Doctor before it was pulled. However after watching all the various incarnations on video over the years, T. Baker fell to one of my least favorites. Being a Hartnell fan, I actually started on the recons before ever watching a single episode. I now have the entire Hartnell run either on video, recon or audio, which is no samll feat for an American. If anyone is interested in Baker Memerobelia (SP?) or Offical releases from many of the Doctors please contact me via PM or email as my collection is just sitting in boxes and could use a good home. There used to be a Café member (LastDoctor) who bought from me quite a bit but I have not seen him around as of late. Shawn

I don't get it...Who is the Doctor 'who returns'? Is this Doctor related to the Baseball 1st baseman?
