Hershey Magic is pleased to announce our new store in Harrisburg, PA at the Colonial Park Mall! We have a stage which is open to any magician who needs a place to practice, try out a new act or show off a new routine to a lay audience! Visit our website for tons of photos and contact info! Looking for a place to hang out with other magicians? Saturday's are quickly becoming "the day" to do just that! On any given Saturday, you can catch between 6-20 professional / working magicians at the shop who would love to meet you, share tricks and ideas or just discuss magic in general. There's always something going on at Hershey Magic. (magic Shows, contact juggling, lectures etc.) We also have a private back room with two tables that seat up to 8 people if you want to talk about magic away from the lay people in the store. Stop in to meet us and tell us you heard about us on The Magic Café' and we'll give you an additional 10% off anything you purchase! We have a huge selection of merchandise to choose from!

I just visited the guys at Hershey two days in a row. I like their setup a lot, especially the stage. I plan to try out some material when I get it worked up.
He's right about Saturdays. I was down last week and I had people that didn't work in the shop, showing me all sorts of stuff. I will post a review soon on the right forum for Magic Smart Coin. One more thing: I won't be taking my toddler to a magic shop again anytime soon, (I like to loiter and she is, well, a toddler) but Keith was supremely tolerant of her and that is appreciated in any business. I'll bring her back for escape lessons in a couple years. |

I love the stage idea. So is it sort of an open-mike for magicians? Lay people come to see free magic and magicians come to hone their chops? Sounds like a brilliant idea!

Wow thank you all for the nice comments I appreciate it! Everyone is welcome at the shop from infant to adults. A magic shop should be a fun place to visit and hang out! (That's why we have a full line of Coke products, water and flavored waters!)
Our stage is available for any magician who would like to work on a routine in front of a small lay audience. If you're interested in using our stage, all we ask is that you call in advance and schedule it to make sure it isn't already booked on the day or time you would like to use it. We also teach magic lessons and our stage is going to be where our students perform in front of parents and friends. We're also kicking around the idea of putting up a web cam inside the shop, so you can see what's going on. It will probably only be snap shots every 10 seconds or so, to keep the bandwidth down to a managable size, but we'll see where it goes! |
