Yes, Paul does use the Gallo Pitch in his "Underhanded Coins Across". No table, just the specator's hands. As dmk_kirkland mentioned, it's on his Up in Smoke video.

I just use a variation of a Troy Hooser routine combined with the roth idea of finishing the last transportation in the hands of the spectator.

The only one I use is the 3/4 across, because of its directness

Just so you know, Mike Gallo has a really cool coins across on his video. I cant think of the name of the video right now. It's great, though.

I noticed that a non gaffed coins across(that I still do today) got a better response from my street audiences than my ungaffed one which is straight out of Bobo's. I can't rcall the name right now but if you pm me, I'll get back to you on it. I regularly have people take the coins after the routine and tap them on the table or try to separate them thinking that there is something gimmicked about them. I didn't care much for Sanky's version, which is pretty nice, because it moves too fast for my performing style. I also use this version for my restaurant routine and over the last 5 years that I have been using it, Ihave never had anyone suspect the method. It gets a great response. My opinion is that the shell is severely over rated. Most magicians can duplicate many of the tricks using a shell without the prop so why bother?? It's sort of like the chop cup...why??? I can duplicate just about any move that can be done with the chop cup with a coffee cup picked up off the table so why bother. I'm not saying that they don't add a certain amount of cleanliness in the displays, they definitely do. But, in my experiences on the street and working in restaurants, I have noticed no difference in the response with or without them. In some cases, I could argue for a better response without. OOPS!!! I meant to say that I got better responses with the ungaffed routine than with the gaffed one.

Gaffs... have their place when there is no other way to make the routine work in a sure fire and practical manner.
First, I have moist hands, so I stay away from any tossing stuff as coins tend to stick to my fingers... which has OTHER more useful applications
Second... I learned several cup load moves and found nothing that can replace the clean display of nothing/something ->pick up and show -> nothing again the way a chop-chop cup allows. Of course if you have some moves that work, I'm interested. You can find my cup load and the HPC load of a ball under the cup in Harry's Apocalypse. The way some folks use gaffs makes them very vulnerable to grabby hands. That clean looking assembly and production some folks do is a great example of "what the heck are these?" if you are not careful. Great visual, just not examinable. On the other hand there is Vernon's Chinatown ruse which is VERY practical. Likewise some material with a sun.moon gaff. You might not need to write off gaffs entirely. And yes EG and DBC handle lots of things where some might use [s.
