Flip stick. Or, with some practice, you can make the "pencil in the ear" trick look amazing. Or the pencil through dollar bill. pencil through quarter. All those work.

How about a flip stick move and then a complete vanish via sleeves and reproduction in mid air or a child's ear.

Pencil Through Cheek, I've seen it on a DVD by Andrew Mayne (Shock FX). If coan also borrow a ring and some rope (every type of) you can try Daryl's ring rope & wand routine with the pencil instead of the wand. Should be very powerful.

Yeah, the Pencil Up Nose is a good one. Or you could use the "paddle-move" and make the No.2 sign of the pencil disappear.

Be sure to check Jean-Denis Blanchet's "Impromptu Pen Vanish" it's easy to do and very versatile.
It's found (together with a lot of great impromptu magic) at: http://www.newmagicsecrets.com/portal/re......PnXi93X8 -e-

Well there are some impromptu pen/pencil through dollars. There is also a dvd called A.E. which if I understand correctly is an impromptu effect simmilar to Just Passin Through with any pencil. Some thing I like to do is the paddle move with a pencil to make the writing double then disappear.
Please note that I have not purchased any of the first to methods/effects Only my 2cents Happy Posting! Jeremy L. |

Depends on how much impromptu you want to get
but if you go to http://www.pentrix.com you can get pretty snappy pen moves. although this isn't considered to be "magic" by many. it sure does dazzle some people. mind you, they are very tricky. |

Eric Anderson has his variation of pencil thru bill, called East Meets West, Meets South and is worth your consideration as well.

Maybe, if you had a sharpened large pencil and a sharpened smaller pencil; you could do a shrinking pencil effect and maybe finish it with a vanish. Just a thought.

You could probably do a pencil thru jacket the way some do knife or cigarette through jacket.

Yeah, that is a pretty cool trick. I have had it for a while now, and use it a lot at school.
