Kyle, I'll definetely check out the iPod mini....sounds like just what I need...good idea for the MiPro, Tom! I also have a problem with my headset sometimes after doing something "energetic" on stage. I've started subconsciously moving my mike farther from my mouth during this routine and waiting to move it back after the skit...ok, I'm cheap! I'ts my first year full-time, so I'm strapped a bit.....
I was really worried about getting an adequate sound system about a month ago...I was using only a MiPro for some bigger school assemblies and it just was'nt cutting it for me (I'm not saying it wont' for others...I may just be an idiot...please don't respond to that!).
Anyway, my grandma knew about it, we're very close. I had told her that that was the only thing really bugging myself and others about my show (as they say, we live or die by our sound systems...actually, that's Steve Taylor I think that said that!),
to make a long story short...my grandma passed away a few weeks ago...it's been really rough...she raised me for many years and I was closer to her in many ways than to my own mom....
So as it happens after the funeral I was at my aunts house for the...what do you call this..it's like a "party" but it's not....and my uncle Jack hands me this fat envelope and says "Grandma wanted you to have this".
Inside was cash she'd placed in her FREEZER to keep it safe for me!
Can you say "cold, hard cash"! It was still cold from the freezer when he gave it to me!

Question: I own an MP3 Tech and love it! I'm just curious - does anyone know what the iPod 'socket' on the back of the MP3 Tech is for? Is it possible to control an iPod with these units? Thanks!
