The effect:
A deck of cards is examined and shuffled by a spectator. A small leather wallet is removed from your pocket, from this you remove a membership card, which is shown on BOTH sides. The cards are spread and the membership card is inserted wherever the spectator wishes. They are now asked to remember the card next to the membership card. The membership card is then removed and again shown on BOTH sides, it is then replaced in the wallet. After several attempts to find the selection, you show that the card has actually vanished from the deck. You tell the spectator that their card is now inside the wallet, which has been in full view on the table. The wallet is opened and sure enough the selection is inside, but the membership card has now vanished. The card case is picked up, opened, as you claim that the membership card is inside. The case is clearly seen to be empty. Yet you now reach inside the EMPTY case and pull out the membership card.

What you get:
A leather credit card Himber Wallet, the membership card, the card box and 7 pages of instructions (including patter suggestions). The wallet is made of real leather, but the inside looks a little bit cheap – you can see the rear of the leather, which doesn’t look very professional.
The membership card is gimmicked in a very clever way. The card box is also gimmicked (and also sold separately under the name “Ghost Box”) and a tool for a variety of magic effects, not only for “Members Only”. The instructions provide 4 pages of ideas and handlings for this tool.
During the performance a force must be executed, but the probs do all the work.

Value for money:
This is a nice effect - well, it is not only an effect, but a whole routine: a card is selected, then it vanished, reappeared, then the membership card disappeared and is finally produced from an empty card box. Impressive is also what you get for your money: the Himber wallet, the Ghost Box and the gimmicked membership card (which really looks like one of these old-fashioned “Friend of the Theatre” membership cards: it is made of thick paper).
The routine is strong because all the things that happen are unexpected. And the wallet never contacts the deck of cards.
On the downside: the quality of the wallet – but maybe it is only me who got such a cheap wallet? You also have to carry a lot of props (yes you need the Ghost Box to perform this effect).

So, as a conclusion I can say that this is a very unusual “Card-to-Wallet” routine. If you don’t mind carrying all these probs, you should give it a try. But pay attention with the wallet.
I give it a solid 8: I like the routine, the force used is very deceptive, and I like that it is not a common effect. Negative is the quality of the wallet. This is not a quick trick, so maybe not something for table-hopping.

Could you substitute another Himber wallet if that is your only complaint? Or is there something about that wallet that is specific to this trick?

No, you can use every Himber wallet. I would simply say that you can use the same wallet, but pay attention to the quality. You can even use Z-fold wallet.
