Hi guys
As you probably are aware this is a truly an international site, with posts from all over the world.
One little thing I would appreciate is if on the header of each page you could display your local date and time. Then I can gauge how recent posts are. I can be a day ahead of you guys, depending on my local time. (New Zealand - One of the first countries in the world to met the new day)
(And yes I do realise New Posts are highlighted for each user by a red cup)

The current format is based on Eastern Standard time (USA).

I know this is best left to Gene and Co. and only if he has a lot of spare time on his hands, but some boards have a feature that allows a time "offset" to be selected in your preferences(GMT minus 8, things like that)but I'm sure there are lot more important things that come first.

Wouldnt GMT be a more logical time if only one time zone is available?

It would be, for Brits such as us.

But this is primarily a US board.

I think this is a primarily an international board. The Greenwich Meridian (Prime Meridian or Longitude Zero degrees) marks the starting point of every time zone in the World. GMT is Greenwich Mean (or Meridian) Time is the mean (average) time that the earth takes to rotate from noon-to-noon.

Its would be easier to calculate your local time from GMT rather than EST and understand the time when posts were made.
