I don't know if this is a well kept secret, or people just don't know but several months ago, I stumbled upon a site (check out
"talkie tapes" on search engine) called talkie tapes which is a plastic strip about a foot and a half long that you run your thumbnail over and doing so you can cause any object that reverberates to "talk". I bought a sample pack and it's nice to use with balloons. It's especially cool because they have two force cards on it too. Check it out. You could charge an extra buck just asking, "how would you like to make that balloon talk?" Couple notes: You do have to tell the person what it says before they listen so they can distinguish the voice on the strip. It is a little long. I bought it with the hopes of attaching it to a TT so I could make anything talk with concealment but it's not like that. Still worth it. Quite a novelty! Have fun! |

Sounds quite neat, thanks for the tip!

I got these too. I have the Happy Birthday one so the balloon can say it to the guest. I have heard some people use it in a card box (ace of hearts) to tell the selected card.
If you want a sample, the company will send you one. If you want 1 or 2 email me and we'll work something out.
