I just purchased a run rabbit run and it was a piece of crap. Its hard to tell which run rabbit run is a good quality one by just looking at the pictures. Can someone tell me who sells the best quality run rabbit run effect? I am waiting on the Wolf Magic version called Run wolf Run. Until then which is the best run rabbit run on the market? Thanks

Oh, it's coming! And by the looks of it, it's going to be the BEST EVER! Check out the Art work. You can bet that it will not just be visually pleasing, it will be a mechanical marvel. I look forward to it.

Hi Carlos...easy now...we only have 3 people working in this company and that is INCLUDING me and Shelley!! We are battling just to keep the new items in stock as things are picking up FAST!
I just completed the engineering of the "sliding mechanism" for the Run Wolf Run. All I can say is "SMMMOOOOTH!!" This will be an overall larger prop, more visible and the most reliable and very smooth set of mechanisms you have ver used. Not to mention a TON of custom silk screened colors. Please be patient as we cannot rush any item to the market...I would hate to experience our first major recall! Steve, to answer your question...yup...try to wait for our version. It will be well worth it. My guess is around 60 days. Take care Chance Wolf Wolf's Magic

I found this one from USMI that is in production right now and will be available in June or July. Check it out if you are interested. Looks like a very nice prop with a new fresh look and a couple new workings. What do you think? http://www.abra4magic.com/Merchant2/merc......ry_Code=

Magicbyswh, it looks kind of small for me. I like larger props. I am not a "pack small, play big performer though" ...everyone does that!! I am a pack big, play bigger kinda performer. Only a few of us with good backs can claim that title. The problem also lies with the quality. You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. The mechanics is something you won't know until you buy it. I learned years ago that I will save money if I just buy the best....first! I would buy the cheaper one, then the middle priced one, then finally the best one. I wasted all that time and money on the first 2 purchases. For me, I am going with Chances Run Wolf Run. I KNOW his props are quality, and larger, and more colorful, and I personally will not waste any money waiting to get it.

I have a version of "Run Rabbit Run" I puchased before the "Wolf" announcement, so I'll be upgrading. That said, I have never seen it performed; I would like to pull the one I have out of the box. Is there video somewhere of this being performed? Do you hold it in your hands, or is it sitting on a table? I understand the "Wolf" version will have a great routine and ending included, so that should help.

Chance,
are you guys going to make a version of the card duck? The ones in the market are "not that good". |

I am waiting on the Run Wolf Run effect also. Until then I need a decent working one. Hopefully Chance's will be close to the price of the Wacky Worm. Hopefully it will be within my budget.

I have a Jumbo sized Run Rabbit Run, made by MAK magic (it almost looks like what's on their cu......n import). Got it about 10+ years ago, from Doug Tilford.
I had to attach some velcro tabs to the doors, to keep them shut. And the mechanism is very low tech (not like a standard model). But other than those two drawbacks, I have fun using it for younger children now and then. - Donald P.S. In one of Micky Hades' books, I *think* "The New Make-Up of Magic", he has plans for building your own Run Rabbit Run. I've never done it, just seem to recall that it's there.

Carlos,
I have plans for many classic effects such as the Card Duck but so little time to pursue them all as I would like to make as many Original effects as possible. magicbyswh, Unfortunately, it is impossible for us to compete with the Imported Run Rabbit Run prices. We are building a very HIGH END quality piece that will stand up to years of performing as well as many other features. I can assure you it will not be close to the Wacky Worm price. My guess is around $250-275. Not bad considering it is 4 TIMES the prop! I promise, once it is in your hands...you will find it a BIG bang for the buck! Not to mention our Customer Support which offers FREE REPAIRS if anything goes wrong due to our craftsmanship. Try to find that with the other guys Stay tooned for more info!! Chance Wolf's Magic

Hey, Chance,
Just wanted to let you know that I just entertained another 400-450 people this past Saturday morning and they LOVE THE WACKY WEASEL! (So much so that I'm missing a red and blue ping pong ball.....lil' Wacky must have given them away as souveniers,,,) I wanted to thank you for making such a great prop! It has the perfect "Look, don't see" quality to it! Chris |

Hi Chris,
Sounds like you are having as much fun as the other owners of our Wacky Lil Weasels! Please know that you can order more Balls from us if needed. I will try to get a link up ASAP. Otherwise, you can try to find them locally but the colored balls are tricky to find. I will try to dig up the website so you may order a bunch instead of us being the middle man however you will have to gimmick the Ball on Head ball which is rather easy. Hey Jeff, The "Wiz Kote 2005" is on hold until further notice. Too many ideas and recreations...so little time! I want to release a couple more Original ideas before I go into the Wiz Kote project. I can assure you it will be pretty darn cool once it is finally ready! Take care Chance

Maxello magic have a version called Ghost House using Ghosts instead of rabbits also one ghost can fly into the air.The ghost moves by the aid of a pull so you move one way and the Ghost goes the other .
It is not in the quality range of Chance's products but it does the job well.
Hope this helps. Creation is life

Well,
I've been begging shelley to put me on the list for Hip-Hop and Wacky worm - looks like I might have to add Run' as well! ...my wife is gonna kill me... Trust me, magicbyswh, don't take a chance, wait for Chance. I've seen the quality in the recombobulator of a friend, and I wouldn't even consider settling for less. Mat. |

Well, the best run rabbit run will be "Bakery Bear" but it has stop producing, so its hard to get one... But still there is a problem with the prop too. it is make of plastic, so if you are performing lots of shows in crack easily unless you can pack nicely....
Other than Bakery Bear, dun try to get others run rabbit run as all of them are urgly. Run Wolf Run is fabulous, but problem is that I think the kids might not like it. As the routine such be cute and fun. but the wolf seems a bit scary... no offence, just my view of the prop... |
