KIDabra Staff Members at White House

Many of Kidabra Executive Staff performed at the Easter Egg Roll celebration that is held every year on the White House Lawn in Washington DC. It is also listed in this months Magic Magzine.

Many of Kidabra Executive Staff performed at the Easter Egg Roll celebration that is held every year on the White House Lawn in Washington DC.

That was a very FUN day!! Over 10,000 people get to come to this event. The White House gives out wooden easter eggs after people have finsihed on the South lawn. These Wooden eggs are what everyone comes for. Many people collect them apparently.

Funthing tyring to explain to secret service what a Showtech sound system is .LOL

I can only imagine how difficult it must be explaining certain magic props to secret service. there has got to be things and props that would make a secret service agent freak out. lol Did you have to have everything checked and looked over?

Oh yes, secret service knew everything about us. The must do some type of backgroud check on people. We had to give out fullnames , SS# , home address, etc. Actaully all kidding aside none of us had a hard time getting in with our gear. I have had much harder times at airports with my gear than at the Whitehouse.

The really crazy thing as the event is going on you can see snipers on top of the white house and in other buildings surounding the area.

That is odd that it was easier to get into then at an airport. Interesting. Snipers while you perform? I guess you had better be good lol If the pres hates the effect and gives the nod.... you are in trouble.. brings a new meaning to Bullet Catch Trick. hehehe

Can you imagine doing a trick with a blank gun, say you were shooting at a rubber snake? Not that they would do that. Curious, were they given any instructions on what they can or cannot do?

Might be a new reality show, "The Gong Show of Death." or "Tricks or Consequences."

They said in Magic Mag that everyone performed one after the other, all day.
That would be an interesting DVD if there is a tape.

That would make for a good DVD but no one was taping, just a lot of pictures.

Nope did not no the Egg nest or mesh bag egg routine. Only had like 10 mins up there and I wanted to do the egg bag with an easter egg.
