Dear Mr. Maven,

It is a real treat having you on the forum. Welcome! Also, I want to congratulate you on the recent release of PRISM. I enjoyed reading your work a great deal. Apparently, your colored series has inspired the "Off Color Series." I have heard buzz about this new work, but I have not seen it. I would appreciate any thoughts you have concerning this new "series".

Best

FYI: Link to the off-color series is on this website:

http://www.francismenotti.com

It is in the section for magicians only. It does require a password.

(Just to help those who haven't seen or heard of the series. I know that Mr. Maven has seen the works, and I'm interested in hearing a commentary, too!)

The "Off-Color" books are very funny, but not for the easily offended. Buried within are a few performable ideas.

Mr. Maven,

I heard a rumor that you may be contributing to said "off-color" books. Is this true?

Kindest Regards,

Nope. Francis is on his own.

Thanks for the kind words; I would, however like to credit/thank my fellow co-authors/contributors to the off-color booklets. That would consist of the gentlemen from the original Penn State Magic Club. Without their help, these obscene spoofs could not have successfully mimmicked the inspiring booklets that now make up PRISM.

And thanks, Max, for sharing a bit more information about yourself on this forum. (Could be fodder for future parodies, hmm?)
