Do you walk around with all that dough or have you made up the trick with lesser denominations? If the latter, do you get the same reactions?

Hi Blindbo,
I use Hundy 500, and yes, I do carry it around with me. The $600 investment is worth it for me. The change to $100's is a staggering part of the presentation. The emotional impact is heightened by the amount of money. Personally, I do not think I would get the positive responses if the change was to any lesser bills. Tim Conover does a routine wherein he changes the singles into $5's but then he changes it to any other denomination as requested by his audience. I think that the request for $100's far overshadows any other amount. The above statements are just my opinions and not meant to convince you that it is best for you. Regards, Paul (I walk around with over $600 in props) Green |

I agree with mr green. I do hundy all the time. the 100s to me fit the patter better. if you have the extra money I recommend using the $100 bill. people just freak out more when they see the $100. I did this trick for barry bonds and he really liked the trick.

I use ones and fives. I wish I could afford the hundreds. I still get good reactions.

Thanks for the replies, fellas. The link was a good one, Dan.
I'm convinced that the bigger the bill, the bigger the thrill. I'll be joining the $600 dollar gaff club. |

I go from $1's to $5's, because I don't want to be carrying around hundreds of dollars with me all the time. I like to take my Hundy packet with me wherever I go, and this is the only way I can do that.
The impact is certainly stronger with hundreds, no question about it. |

The only thing that at least somewhat comforts me is that with rubber cement you can peel the bills apart, rub off the residue, and use them after the packet gets a bit ratty. So it is not like I actually had to "spend" all that money, I just had to have enough to "borrow" it indefinately, since if I ever use the bills, I would have to get replacements. I guess it is more like "working capital".
What does scare me is if I ever lost my wallet, I would NOT be a happy camper. |

I use 100's, too. After a while, you forget that you "lent" this money to your craft, and it's a nice realization that you've got $600 that you forgot you had.

Since the bills are not given out, for those of us that don't perform for money ( can't affoird the real $100 bills , could they be copied?

Could they be copied? Yes.
Should you do it that way? Only if the copies look 100% real, otherwise it lessens the effect. When performed with real bills, they can be handed out for examination. People hold them up to the light and look at the security watermark. |

If anyone gets the urge to help a fellow out, send me one of those $600 gaffs. I sure would appreciate it!

Greg carries that trick everywhere. I remember years ago we went to play Painball and he lost his gimmick. DOH! $200 gone just like that. Personally, I just don't HAVE $600 that I can set aside for a trick like that.

Could you make the gimmick "old school" with blank paper that turns into bills?

Michael Ammar on his "Easy to Master Money Miracles #3" has an effect called "E-Z Money" that is similar and turns blank paper into money. While it is a fine effect, I don't think it has quite the punch of Hundy 500.

My friend kevin has been raving about this effect. I know one of the bills cannot be examined but that's not really what concerns me. While it is a visual transformation, it's passive. It's something to watch, but not be engaged in. Perhaps this is because it uses more than one bill?
WHich do you think gets a better response: the Ammar handling of the 100 dollar bill switch or the hundy 500?

You can handle the bills before and after the switch, not all of them for sure, but at least one or two, I think even Greg does it with the police officer if I remember well on the dvd, no?
