Hello Mr. Maven, first I just wanted to say that you were one of the first magaicans I ever saw on tv and I think your videomind series is excellent. You may have answered this question before, but do you have any tips or suggestions on how one can improve their memory skills for their own routine.

Also, I saw what you said about Derren Brown and Kenton Knepper. What do you think of Bob Cassaidy, Larry Becker, Banachek and Richard Osterlind?

As addressed in a previous thread, there are useful books on memory training that are easily available.

I've already posted comments on Cassidy et al.

How to Develop a Super Power Memory, by Harry Lorayne, has been miraculous for me.

Within a week after reading one of the chapters I was able to have people list 20 nouns, errands, or famous people (many things will work). I could immediately recite them, in order, both forward and backward, or in any order called out (#8 was _____, #14 was _____).

The implications for magic/memory demonstrations are very interesting. Example: Memorize the highlights on each page of a *current* magazine and have people call out page numbers for you to list the contents. Or start with 3 magazines and use equivoque to have the correct one chosen.

The amount of study necessary compared to results possible is staggering.

My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".
