Does anyone know how much the coin set on Dean's dvd cost and how I can go about getting one? I am referring to the one he uses in the dinner napkin. I am not looking for a set of four like in explosion but just one for the napkin routine. Thanks.

Doug Brewer's DVD The Unexpected Visitor has a number of nice tricks using a shell and 2 regulars.
They are quite nice. I believe Dan Watkins has a nice review in his webpage.
It only takes a minute to learn how it is done, but takes a lifetime to learn how to do it.

Jamie Schoolcraft is the only one authorized to make my Explosion Coin sets, (for sale). Or the single four coin gimmick made in silver half dollars and silver dollars. For all that is worth.

Another great routine is Daniel Garcia's personal safe. Coins across to the spectators hand with a suprise ending.

I would recommend the videos of Chris Korn if you want to go into shell work.
Radical Korn and Extreme Korn have some really powerful routines with a shell. I love Chris Korn's routines called 'She Holds the Money' because of ultimate spectator involvement and 'Lip-tak Sighting' because of the surprises that are built in the routine.

My favorite is what I call half a kangaroo. Basically I use half the Kangaroo coin set and rather than having coins pass from one cover to another, I just allow the transformation to happen under one cover, pattering it is to do with changing molecules.
Half a kangaroo has stood me in great stead for a lot of years. |

A great routine I love to do is coinone. It is a very good routine. There are many things out there that have to do with a shell. Just have to know where to look.

Translocation, Shadow Coins, and Roth's shelled coins across are my favorite.
Also check out "The Hook, Revisited" by Doug Brewer. Great sequences leaving you clean on the last vanish! Best, Paul h. |

Just saw Joshua Jay do a very visible three coin vanish. The coins start in a fan, then there are two, then there was one, and finally none. All very clean.
He useda f*****r as well as a sheel. Really smooth.
