Nice of them, but sadly this is probably because of that moronic bitch with the finger scam.

If you get the free Frosty, at least buy SOMETHING.

I had about 3 other replies to this topic earlier today...WOnder what happened. Let's see, I went to one Wendy's and got a few free Frosty's with my family. I didn't buy anything. Then I went to another one and got lunch, and I didn't want a free Frosty. They got their business from me today.
The whole reason they are doing this is because they want more business.

I believe the "official" reason was that the company wanted to thank their customers for sticking by them during the whole Chili Finger incident.

Regardless of the reason I'll be stopping by with the family shortly......how nice of Wendy's and I very rarely eat there....that's it; just a scam to get me hooked! By the way....their Frosties RULE!

I NEVER EVER EVER go to Wendy's. I've been there probably 2, maybe 3 times tops in my whole life. I went tonight however to get a free frosty. My friend said "I'm getting something" so I got something too (I was hungry anyway). So I guess it worked, because I bought a burger that I would NEVER otherwise have gotten. The frosties are small, but sooooooo good. I was happy I went.

I never go to Wendy's, but that was a choice made long before this finger problem. The first two times I ever ate at a Wendy's, I wound up getting sick to my stomach (these were two different Wendy's, BTW). Now, you can't drag me into a Wendy's.

Have you seen that the famous Wendy's finger has been identified? It belonged to a family friend of the Ayala family (no relation to Joaquin Smile ), who cut it off accidentally, and then gave it to the Ayala family (gee, talk about close friends).

Gee, I wonder how her supporters are taking this news?

What is wrong with these people?

I still go to Wendy's after the incident. It's way better than some other fast food joints out there(other than Subway).

I give Wendy's food a "thumbs-up." Smile
I like the idea of square hamburgers.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there.

Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair
-can ne'er come down again.

That's a good point. I'm surrounded by fine eating establishments. (Also, pretty much the only thing in Marin County besides people with rediculously expesive homes and cars, are fabulous restaraunts.)

Buh-Dum CHING. Haha. The reason for the square hamburgers is because Dave's mother told him "never to cut corners"

Hi,

What I find sad in all of this entire finger affair is the loss of over 2 million in sales from Wendy's food chains. Okay.. a bit hard not to feel sympathy over a large corporation but as the news stories later reported this impacted hundreds of employees whose families relied on their jobs. Employees were laid off due to the lack of sales..the repercussions were far more severe to many, than the woman whom claimed to have found a finger in her food. All this caused by greed and showed later this person had a history of trying to scam corporations.

Urg! Won't be able to ever eat finger food again without thinking of her!

I eat Wendys all the time, I love their $1 cheeseburger - unlike McDonalds, theirs has lettuce and tomato making them what I consider "health food". Smile

The "free" frosty has a retail value of ten cents - you can purchase a book of 10 free coupons for $1 at most Wendy's, and I believe it is part of a charity. The only problem is, they are so dang small.

Although I've been trying to cut down on eating Wendys at of late, and fastfood in general. When I do go there, the spicy chicken sandwich with their fries is the best combo out BK, mcdonalds and such. The fries....omg....drool...

But I prefer quinzos if I can, I'm definitely missing out though, I haven't had an in and out burger before or a white castle, or any other places that's outside of mass.

I like Wendy's salads. They have some nice taco salads that aren't too fat laden.
