Okay, I posted this in "Believe It or Not," but thought it would be good to raise here as well.

You've got a performer like Komar the Fakir: bed of nails; pulse control; hatpins thru flesh; etc.

Besides carny type shows and psychic fairs, what would be other good performing venues?

I think you may be surprised... Many regular outdoor fairs or festivals would be into that sort of thing if you can sell it right and gather a crowd. Especially if you can work without being blue. If I were you I may look into festivals like taste fests that are held all over the place in more urban markets and generally aren't aimed so much at children and families but the "Gen X" market.
