Jerry's book, The Encyclopedia Of Playing Card Flourishes (see http://flourishman.com) is a great place to look, otherwise if you're strictly looking online, there's some videos floating around where you might find pick up a couple simple ones or find some inspiration. the buck twins have several (see the system at http://dananddave.com) and de'vo's superhandz.com is where you can find the cobra cut (world's hardest one handed cut).

those are my best reccomendations

Daryl's got a few as well in his Encyclopedia of Card Sleights, Volume 8 I think.

Great series.

I can't think of any actual websites that teach one-handed cuts. But like Jessica said, "The Encyclopedia Of Playing Card Flourishes" is a great source and has a ton of them (the book has much more than just cuts as well).

Daryl's Card Sleights vol. 8 only has a few one-handed cuts on his dvd. It's mostly geared toward card magic rather than cuts and flourishes. Daryl's dvds are decent like Harwin said, but there are better dvd's out there if your looking for ONLY one-handed cut tutorials.

You could probably do a Google search and find how to do a few one-handed cuts here and there, but again "The Encyclopedia Of Playing Card Flourishes" is your best bet. It's $75, but it's worth it.

Daryls DVD: s are aimed towards magicians and if you are a magician, like most people on the magic Café are, you will like it a lot.

100 X Decent according to me.

Off course XCM: ers don't have a lot of use of color changes,
multiple shifts and whatnot. Smile They only do pure manipulation,
no magic at all.

I think it is the best reference for magic sleights around.

And the cuts included, the only ones I remember are Super Duper Cut and Hot Shot Cut (not sure if they are in the same volume but still) are excellent, I use both a lot.

But if you want something dedicated to only one handed cuts, the only thing I know of is the book "The one handed card cutter" and that is very out of print. Saw one sold on ebay about a year or so ago, that's the only source I know of with only one handed cuts. If I remember right the author is Rue Martinez.

But yeah, I agree upon EOPCF, it is the source with most one handed cuts that
is easy to get your hand on that I know of, just thought I'd
make another suggestion. Smile

They aren’t any websites that offer a series of One handed Cuts for Free.
Unfortunately.

If you are looking for free videos on one handed cuts, I highly recommend watching all the videos post on this thread:

http://p210.ezboard.com/fsuperhandzfrm63......17.topic

All these videos are 1 minute of nothing but one handed cuts

I forget how many are there, but it’s a LOT. Some you can’t learn from, some you can, but none of them were shot to be tutorials. However you can learn from them. I especially recommend Burn’s Video. He’s does a lot of cuts, and I learned a few things from it.

Also here is a link for Darly’s Hot Shot cut.

I learned from it, one of my favorites now.

http://www.cardshooting.go.to/

hit the button on the side that says “MIDDLE FINGER”

the rest of the site is good too.

Hope that Helps…

Well 42 people entered, maybe about 10 that didn't post up, so theres like 30 or so one hand cut vids. Theres a lot you can learn from those vids, some extrememly talented people their.

Speaking of the Which, Your's was really Good CC. It sucked that you only had that camera that does 30 secs. It was a good quality film, but I wouldn't liked to have seen what you could do with the full minute. I like your 3 packet one hand revolutions and the hot shot, very smooth... Couldn't really follow exactly what was going on with the blue ace though??

Did you ever get a better camera? Least in time for the next tourny?

The one really bad thing about just watching the videos and not spending money on books and DVD's is that you never really learn what the cuts are called. But if you see one that you really like you can always just ask "What's that cut your doing ## seconds into that clip?"

Don't forget that De'vo's XB dvd is coming out soon. I'm sure there will be an assortment of one handed cuts in there.

Tons! Everything basic up to some intermidiate one handed cuts. Buy XB, its the only way to go. Plus it is two mabye even three DVD's and has some new underground concepts. Buy it, you wont be let down.

I also agree that this dvd will have the most/best material on XCM. All XCMers out there NEED to buy it.
