QUESTION: If the Reaper came to you and said...

"your time is up, but the big fellow needs an EA to perform for eternity and you can only bring one escape prop"

What would your choice be ?

(Mine would be the Hindu Water cell.)

I have to go with Harry on this one and say rope. Everything else limits you to just one escape (pretty much) rope has endless possibilities. If this was a sideshow question I would say a six inch nail.

I would have to go with a Water Torture Cell however...

Rope for me too; the EA's equivalent of a deck of bikes, the most versatile thing in the bag by far.

I'd bring along something to pick open the Pearly Gates, because I doubt I'll be allowed in any other way.

Yeah, a spool of rope.
Of course I know a few EAs who wouldn't take ANY prop; they would take their favorite philosophy professor to try to explain to the Reaper why this couldn't possibly be happening. Smile

Hi, years back Rudi Steffish (author of 'A Dance with Houdini') posed the questions.
If you died in a failed escape attempt, would you want the press to state.
Lack of the performers skill made for a bad outcome, or a hardware malfunction ( which may suggest lack of thought in the design)

I think that I'd prefer to say it was lack of skill. That way if another EA tried the escape and did it, they would appear even more materful in the art. Therefore putting a positive spin on my death.

Some you win, Some you lose! I'll go with lack of skill also.

I'd go with the mechanical foo-bar; I like the 'Chung Ling Soo' misadventure angle.

ROTFLMAO @ Chance. That was good.

I would go with an endless supply of Cable ties (Zip ties).
