I don't use doves but I would like too. Do you train them to fly back to you after a show or what? If so how?

Blazes,

Usually what we mean when we say "fly back" is that the bird can be produced, thrown into the audience and will "fly back" to the magician on stage. Lighting can be very import to the success of that.

Look under doves and dove training on the search here on The Magic Café and you'll find loads of information about it.

Enjoy!

Bob

On Tony Clark's UNMASKED video. He teaches how to train your dove to fly back to you. Unmasked 1 & 2 are great videos worth having if you are thinking of getting into dove magic.

Munch, can you be a little more specific? What is it you want the dove to do?

Hey Munch,
Doves (IMHO), I have found tend to learn thru repitition. i.e. each dove you perform with needs to have the time and PATIENCE from you in order to perform the given task. But, with the proper training and time, you will have a dove who (usually) performs as you desire. Good luck!
