Extreme Finger Manipulation! Hahaha, I don' t think there's anything I can say about this to make it seem goofier than it really is.

Superhandz is descending into self-parody.

Yeah the finger manipulation kind of struck me as odd. and they say aw this ROCKS, but the guy keeps doing the same thing over and over again. it's rather boring actually.

It isn't interesting as an artform - I would consider it on par with thumb twiddling, except you apparently need to have your hands comming out of a couple of holes in a table cloth, and you need bad music playing in the background.

Greg Irwin's been around for longer that Superhandz. I saw him performing at the Magic Castle some fourteen or so years ago. It's pretty amazing stuff. I think he had something to do with the movie Labrynth too, in the "hand faces" sequence.

That's probably the most ridiculous and useless stuff I've ever witnessed. Read that part about the mysterious "Ulmen4". Funny.

That part with the foot shuffling...if I had feet that looked like that I'd surely not have them on camera.

The Ulmen is some secret hand twiddlers club requiring some dark initiation.

I saw these vids some time back and thought nice but pointless. I think the owner of said hands lacks timing and flow when used to illustrate music

If you want to see what truly extremely talented hands can do, check out Lejo.

First, click the "GB" (Great Britain) button for the English version of the site, then click "videos". From there, click on any one of the picture to see the videos - including the most incredible version of the ball & vase that you'll ever see!

Couldn't get the Lejo video to work. I got to the video window, but it just stayed black! Maybe the library has that sort of stuff blocked. I'll try again when I'm using my home computer. (Same thing with the magic hands, the web site wanted to save it to the hard drive, but this isn't my computer so I couldn't.)

I got the Lejo video of the Ball & Vase, but it was EXTREMELY slow and choppy (my computer, I suppose). I wish there was a way to download it, as with the vids on Extreme Digits. I get a better viewing if I just download it and watch later through Windows Media or similar. Normally, Flash sites do ok for me, but this one was a real snail. Any ideas for improving that, guys?

It was really cool though! That kind of creativity makes me want to go burn all my stuff.

I'll check more of them as I have the time.

That's kind of like Muppets without any Muppets. I imagine it take a lot more dexterity than is readily apparent.

And imagine...this guy is getting paid to go around doing this...man, you talk about your packs small plays big!! This must be the ultimate! I would say this is the extreme example of resourcefullness!

I wonder if he has his hands insured...

One girl I know referred to that site as featuring "naked Muppets"!

What's the big deal? This is eye-candy, and I enjoy it a lot. I don't get why it is put down. I don't get why people think it is junk. Relax, and enjoy. It is just fun. You remember fun?
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there.

Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair
-can ne'er come down again.
