Hello. I have a question concerning the Hindu Thread Trick. Is there a good glow-in-the-dark thread out there I can use for the Hindu Thread trick on stage? And, does a black light help? Thanks!

I have actually seen glo-thread at a few online shops. Just search around and you should be able to find it.

Thanks you guys. I recieved my thread and instructions from Camirand today. Thanks again!
What is the best way to break the thread? I'm having problems with the thread cutting my hands when I try to break it. I don't want to burn it, cause I want the audience to hear the distinctive "pop" as it's broken. I've tried to break it using my left and right pointer finger, that works great, the only problem is that I can't expose the ball clipped with my left thumb, pointer, and middle finger, and it's hard to break without doing that. I've also tried to do it like I see a lot of other magicians doing it (breaking with the bottom of each pinky finger. That works, up until it rips the heck out of my skin around each crease in the finger. My hands are shot! And I have to perfom this Friday. Help! |

Do you Play guitar? when I learned to play I had sore fingers for months. The same goes with the thread you will develope a tough spot on your hands. find the most comfortable way to break the thread FOR YOU. you will have to experiment.

Yeah, I'm with blutrol. Just like starting to play guitar. You'll build up small calluses before too long. The standard way to break the thread is probably the best way, visually.

Anything wrong with using scissors? I've seen it performed both ways.
