Hi there, as I said, I do feel like a fake because I'm not, nor am I ever likely to be, a magician or illusionist.
However, I have discovered a passion for the Golden Age of Magic (the late 19th, early 20th stage illusions of David Devant, the Maskelynes, Morritt, Kellar, Thurston, etc) and I am desperate to know more and more about them and their effects. Hope you can all forgive me and point me in the right direvtion! Thanks in advance, Pressgang x |

Welcome. This is a great place for anyone with a passion for magic. I've discovered that lots here have never & will never perform. How can you be a fake when you are honestly "up front" in declaring your position? Go directly to the FAMILY TRADITION section and search the old threads about magicians of old etc. You'll find many who share your interest.
