I'm related (by marriage) to Alwyn Stevenson; he was the propietor of The Wizard Shop, which was located in the subway under Times Square in New York. He's one of the first magicians to do sponge ball magic and wrote a number of books including '75 Tricks with a Svengali Deck' and '75 Tricks with a Wizard Deck'. I'm in the process of putting together a tribute site to this legendary magician. I did meet Al when I was five or six; he did some sponge ball magic for me and I know that's one of the things that helped form my personal interest in magic. He passed away shortly after meeting him. Any information, stories, photos, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

The site is at http:/www/thewizardshop.com

Thanks,

Steven
