It's a bio of Harry and a discussion/teaching of some of his routines. Interesting book but not one of my faves mainly because the routines are so darn personal to Harry- not that they couldn't be personalized. I just couldn't see myself performing any of it.

Harry used to do standup comedy/magic before he became the judge on "Night Court." His act was taped as a Showtime special, and is available from Meir Yedid.

It's hilarious, and the tricks in the special are described in the book, plus more.

Anyone have a link to a table of contents for this book?

Thanks in advance,

I love this book and its energy and humor. It gets funnier on each re-read. This is art, buddy.

Denny's has it;
http://www.dennymagic.com/cgi-bin/hazel.......m=003626

It was discussed on here and the bulb should be more pliant in this version.

Hocus Pocus has one as well.

The first ones hd a finish with a large needle and red ribbon. After the needle was extracted then the smaller (large) needle was threaded through and yanked thrpough the skin of the arm.

Ribbon and all.

This is one of the best books you will ever read because he actually explains what he says and why. Not for you to copy him BUT to understand the psychology behind it.
