Ok, I have a gross question. There's not a LOT of literature on this type of thing and I've never seen it discussed. I've always wondered what the after effects of glass eating are? Are we talking stomach cramps or just a little discomfort? Do you have to umm....expel it orally later or will your stomach acid break it down?
Not something I'll be trying but I've always been curious.

If you are successful, you live. If you are not successful, you die. I have had my share of discomfort after doing multiple bulbs in a day. It does not disolve and takes two days to go through.

Is this a joke or what?
eating glass will cause ulceration to the mucosa lining of your gastrointestinal tract, causing haemorrhage and possibly melena |

The only change I would make is to make "eating glass will cause" to "eating glass may cause." As I have stated before, glass eating is a form of Russian Roulette. And I ain't talking about the Derren Brown version of that lethal game. And I will state again, eating a banana is NOT going to prevent the ripping up of you insides from happening. I too have read Swami/Mantra. And I will state again...the information in that book is woefully inadequate. When I started the run off my off-Broadway show, Carnival Knowledge, a writer for the New Yorker magazine came to the show and brought with him the head gastrol-enterologist from NY University Hospital. I think he wanted to bust me on glass eating and write an expose that it was all fake. Well, after the show I sat down with the two of them and was interviewed by the doctor. He found that what I was doing was dangerous, but my precautions were sound. So sound, in fact, he was going to use some of my techniques on his patients. So, the doctor leaded something from the carny! |
