Dose any one do a minipulation routine were you don't just use cards, it's a mix. I am putting togeather a routine with cards, silks, flowers, balls. one thing is I would love to produce a bubble ball but I have I problem finding a set, I saw I post on this and someone had the idea that you blow smoke in to a bubble then produce a white ball as you pretend to catch it. I do not like the idea of smoking though any other ideas. I am still looking for a set though.

I think the key idea is to look beyond manipulative objects as being the ONLY objects you can manipulate. Think of cards as a mere shape. Who says you have to ONLY manipulate playing cards. As long as the object is around the same size as a playing card, you could manipulate a variety of new objects and still use the same moves.

The same goes with billard balls. The billard ball is just a round ball, so any object that has the same shape can also be used to manipulate.

Once you start thinking outside of the norm, you open yourself up to a lot more possibilities for a manip act that is creative, different and new.
