I just had some tri-fold brochures made up and sent them out to be printed. I have a show in a small theatre this weekend and I won't have them in time - I expect to receive them late next week. I'm thinking about printing up a bunch of them on my computer to bring to this show. I have a very good printer - it does a great job. The only thing I don't like is that it leaves a white band around the edge of the paper.
I'm just curious as to your thoughts about handing out brochures that are printed on the computer while I'm waiting for the professional brochures to be completed? Thanks, Tony |

What I've done in the past in a similar situation I had was create like a mini flyer by dividing a single 8.5 x 11 into 3 sections and making them double sided. That way I get 3 flyers out of 1 piece of paper. These can be easly placed on seats or available on a table or something before the show.

Personally, I think that brochures, business cards, etc. should always be of the very highest quality printed by a printing company, not on a P.C. computer. My thinking is that the quality printed piece gives the prospective customer the impression that you are a quality performer. Cheaply printed brochures or cards suggest a lower quality performer. It's psychological, but I think there is something to it. Just MY opinion.

I just wanted to comment on this again. I received my brochures from http://www.brochureplace.com and they are great. I highly recommend this company for your printing needs. The prices, if you are buying in bulk, are excellent. The print quality is excellent. The communication I received throughout the entire process was also excellent. I can't say enough about them. I will definitely be using them again in the future. They also print business cards, postcards etc.
