I'm off on a business trip to China in the next few weeks! Has anybody ever performed there? I'm looking for advice on what not to do (i.e. no tricks with destruction of currency, etc...)
The people I will be visiting speak some English and a translater will be with me, but I think I'm going to have to stick with only visual stuff. Any Ideas are welcome! Thank you! |

Check with Mark Wilson or his son Mike. Both have a lot of China experience and China magic experience. You can get Mark's phone number or email at his website http://www.markwilsonmagic.com

I'd like to imagine that Asians would like anybody if they were likable - regardless of their nationality.
Personally, I have a general dislike for anybody from America. Oh, and Europe too - darn those Europeans. And people from Africa and Asia. I would like Australians but they're our mortal enemies in the cricket so I don't like them either. I don't particularly care for those people across the street now that I think of it - they're very loud. . . Seriously though, I judge people on their individual behavior - not on their governments'.

I would suggest that if you go outside of Beijing, Singapore, or Hong Kong to carry lots of bottled water and a variety of Romen with you. There is no Chinese food in China, least not what they have in the states.
