For those who do the self-folding bill, what type of thin fishing line do you use. I'm trying to look for nylon fishing line 1 lb. weight but I can't seem to finds one.

What is your question?
What fishing line we use, or where to find fishing line 1 lb. weight? When I performed this effect on a regular basis (3 years ago) I used thread. Black thread. You know, thread. The kind you might use to attach a button on a shirt. |

I was trying to find out what some of you used in lieu of the nylon fishing line. And if any of you use the nylon fishing line I described above, I just want to know where to get it.

Bass Pro shops carry 1lb test line. You can look it up on their site.

"Invisible" thread as found in fabric shops should work. It's basically a single strand of very fine monofilament. I haven't tried it, but I imagine it's as thin or thinner than 1lb fishing line.

IT isn't strong enough to use more than a couple of times.
1.7 lb Perlon by Bayer is excellent, but any angling shop (probably not sea angling) will have something. |

I use the invisible thread that you can purchase at fabric shops...not the same as "our" invisible thread...about like fishing line.
