Glad to see this is still winning hearts:) When I receive my Pen Thru Arm, I plan on using it as a follow-up to the 3P.

Regarding the blockhead - is there any way of WIDENING your nasal canal? You know, like allergy nasal sprays or anything?
I can only get good depth using a fairly skinny spike, so I'm starting to wonder if my head's built weirdly. I'd love to add this to my act, but I feel it's simply too unimpressive at this stage. Strange though, as I'm a pretty big guy so my nasal canal should be slightly wider than most peoples! |

Everybody has their own anatomical quirks. The only practical way to change the size of the interior passages, is surgery. They don't depend on your size, weight, build, etc.

Thanks Harley
Through around 2 years of practice, I've totally overcame the sneeze reflex.. it's just unfortionately, the passage is too thin. There is hope though, I did find this: ----------------------------------------------------- Large, swollen inferior turbinates can lead to blockage of nasal breathing. There are two main reasons for enlargement. Most of the time, enlarged inferior turbinates are the result of allergies, irritating environmental exposure, or some minor persistent inflammation within the sinuses. Another reason is deformity of the nasal septum that has caused the bone on the wider side of the turbinate to increase in size. In the case of allergy- or irritant-related enlargement, treatment of the underlying problem may reduce turbinate swelling and solve the problem. If not, turbinate reduction surgery may be required. Because the turbinates help the nose to clean and humidify the air we breathe, it is usually better to leave as much tissue intact as possible. The doctor will probably opt for selective, or targeted, turbinate reduction – rather than extensive reduction. ----------------------------------------------------- Note: The "Nasal Turbine" is the 'roof' of the passage the spike goes through. I wouldn't go for surgery... but they did mention it could be due to allergies - which I'm prone to. It gives me hope at least. -James |

Yes, allergies are a bother. But the basic structure is still bone. You can feel the difference between bone structures and turbinates, if you play with it.
And you should. You should play with it.

My candle burns at both ends; it will not last the night; but ah, my foes, and oh, my friends - it gives a lovely light!
