My education was not as good as it should have been,so I would like someone to answer this,,,,water is H,2,0 so if both hydrogen and oxygen are gasses why is water a liquid ?,mike

Condinsation.............why is propane a liquid in the tank, and a gas out of the tank?

Depends on the temperature. Sometimes, it's a solid or gas as well. Smile

Not very easy to separate, in a similar way that it is very difficult to extract wood from ashes. Water is burnt hydrogen and water.

There are very strong chemical bonds that hold the 2 hydrogen atoms to the oxygen atom. Also, there are hydrogen bonds that act between the water molecules.
If you put an infinite number of apes in front of an infinite number of computers, you get a pretty good idea of what internet chat rooms can be like

I could have sworn that the propellant in rockets involved both liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen.
