You know, there is a poor vexed man who has been residing in a quiet house since he was just a kid, which he refers to as "Chez Moi". What is his name?

Sorry, Stephen. I didn't mean to give such a transparent clue.
When I thought of the Capricorn clue, I hoped I could edit my
earlier post. According to the FAQ, I should be able to edit
my posts AT ANY TIME. Unfortunately, as soon as another post
gets added to the thread, the edit button disappears on the
earlier post. Can anyone tell me how to get around this? Or is
the FAQ simply wrong?

P.S. Stephen, I'm epecially ashamed to have "mucked-up" your
latest. I enjoy your puzzles and enjoy the guessing game we
all engage in as we blindly stumble toward a solution. I'll
be quiet now.

Don't worry about it - not a problem.

As for the editing - you can only edit for up to thirty minutes after posting, unless someone posts afterwards.

Stan,

The way I see it, you could have just posted the answer. You solved the riddle. I appreciate the fact that you guys sometimes leave the answers for others. Usually your clues go right over my head like microwaves anyway.

I don't like to get an answer like that . This one had me stumped and since you had solved it anyway I just asked Stephen for the answer. The funny thing is even after Stepehn explained it "The name is a good description of the puzzle" I'm still lost. LOL.

I should have just kept my guess to myself and let someone else get it.

Ok, if you haven't got by now, then this will help you.

There may be quick foxes, but if there are any dogs, then they won't be lazy

It's a phrase I learnt at school. Guess it wasn't used in the Americas...

The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs.

The phrase has a certain property

Allright can I hazzard a guess? Does your puzzle have the qualities of our examples minus one letter? Giving us "Noel"? Does this make sense?
