Have any of you seen Harvey's DVD on Jumbo Card Productions and, most importantly, applied any of his (or other's) methods to your performance?

Looking to hear from anyone who uses ANY of his Jumbo productions. Feel free to post publicly or PM me.

Cyril Harvey is a 1991 F.I.S.M. award-winner with his spinning tops act.

I actually do use a lot of his jumbo card moves in my own manipulation act. They are really very good, though the angles are critical. Because of this, I can only use my Jumbo Card set in a few situations. Still, the moves are very good, as are his techniques with regular cards. I highly recommend the DVD.

Most jumbo card manipulation can only be done if your audience is seated at good angles. I have the DVD you speak of and there are some moves that can be used even closer than most jumbo card manip. Also it s worth the price of the DVD just to see the tops act. I love it when a magician uses an uncommon prop. Great ideas throughot that can be applied to other props. Some of the moves that were on the DVD I was actually using before Ieven heard of his DVD. Some of them are pretty obvious if you already do card manip. So to answer your question: YES I do use some of the ideas from this video in my act.
