Coin Roll
It is kind of vague. I kept it that way because I teach the fine points on my Dvd Xtreme Koin Magic..There were a lot of people asking me how to do this...So here it is...If you watch enough you will learn it.....Enjoy..Joe |

I've been playing around with this for the past few months or so. It's OK but I like the regular over the knuckles roll. BTW I was really impressed with your double handed muscle pass on the pokerchips vid. WOW. I came up with an effect for such a sleight actually. PM me and I'll tell you. (It's nothing fabulous, but I've used a version w/out the muscle pass, and it's a pretty good fooler).

This has been my favorite roll for about 40 years. It will soon feel much more natural to you than the usual down and under. I learned somrwhere that the "Down the outside Up the inside" should be called the Downs' Roll. My other favorite is the Goshman roll where the coin just stays on top and goes from first to pinkie and back. With time you can get a great fast rhythm going with both hands, even with each hand doing a different pattern.

Thanks Joe for sharing this. I wanted to learn this awhile back and I bought Jay's 45 thinking he'd have taught the coin roll. But I was wrong! Like amerigo was saying, the clip shows you what you need to know to learn. I'm goin' to practice this when I watch TV

Hey Joe, good job again my man...some things are not meant to be sold, like water...Water should be free...all water!
Your efforts here to aide others goes way beyond the normal printed explanations bandied back and forth on the forum. Don't get me wrong, that's sharing too but what you did is more than just point the way, instead you "showed us" the way. There's a big difference.
I know folks here talk about reading being the best way to learn, y'know "reading is fundamental" and all that jazz, but you can't tell me that any reading on how to do this (and many other things that perplex/thwart people at first) is better and more effective than your short vid. Imagine if people stop being so highfulutten, and intellectual at every turn and just "showed" you how to do it. I think people might learn things a heckuva lot faster and more concretely. Doubt if anyone that checked your FREE vid here can say they do not understand the complete dynamics on how to do this coin roll. Yet I have seen people for many years read how to do it and quit before learning out of frustration. Yeah, I guess they can persevere, or they can just look at your vid and be able to do it relatively fast. Again, good work, especially on your "giving" so freely. It doesn't happen much to this degree. Big difference in talking a good game and playing one. ![]()
