Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone knew where to find or had a list of all the IBM Close-Up and Stage Winners. Also I really want to find a list of all the people who won the Gold Cups Award. Any help is appreciated. Ben |

Hi,
I'm Aaron Rabkin, the youth close up winner. I was wondering if anybody had seen my performance and could possibly give feedback? Thank you very much. |

Aaron, you're my hero today. Not only the Youth Close Up winner, but asking for feedback so that you can improve your magic performance. That's outstanding! I didn't see your performance, but I wish I had. Everyone who participates in these types of events should seek out feedback, both from the judges and audience - how else to move forward.
Hope everyone that saw your performance responds with helpful information. Good luck!

Feedback is always a great way to improve. They should make it more standard in a competition to have all the judges sit down and talk with you. I was lucky to get the chance to sit down with one of the judges, but always enjoy hearing more than one opinion.
Here is a short description of my act to help jog any memories. I opened by "turning invisible coins invisible." I made them vanish and then reappear again. I produced the "invisible coin purse" which they came from and then proceeded with a coins across. Following my coins, I did a cups routine in which I produced the balls from a purse frame. I did a vernon style routine and ended by juggling the final loads. I appreciate any help you can give. |

Ain`t it great to be from Illinois, I fell important because I know them both (but then again, that makes me less important if all the magicians I know are better than me).
You know you are a magician when you have boxes full of lecture notes you have never read, but still are excited about going out and buying more.
