Hi Richard,
Thanks for all the learning and creativity you so generously shared with us on your DVDs. What amazed me as much as your effects was the fact that you peek and read handwritten information WITHOUT the apparent use of spectacles / eye-glasses ! After the age of 40 reading glasses are a definite must. But putting on reading glasses can be a dead give away that you are secretly reading something. How does one overcome this challenge ? Grateful for your tips / suggestions. Cheers, Pradip |

Good question. I've been wondering about this, too.

Great question!
I do wear glasses to read and for watching TV. I have graduated bifocals which look like regular glasses but act as reading glasses when you peer downwards. I find that if I am in good lighting, I can see fine without them, but if not, I will wear them. As you probably know, I use a Cross pen and pencil set for my routines. I always have a medium black refill in the pen which shows up about as good as you could hope for. This allows me to go without the glasses most of the time. Finally, if you must put on a pair of reading glasses, make sure YOU have something to write first. Let's say you are doing my PCT. You ask their name, take out the paper, put on your glasses and write their name on the outside. Because you need them to see what YOU write, when you leave them on, no one will pay attention. Hope that helps. Richard |

Such a simple and natural motivation for putting on the glasses.
Great tip! Many thanks Richard. Jonathan

If anyone is interested, I was fitted for and wear one contact lens in my dominant eye which is all that is needed for reading.I only wear it when I perform, therefore a box of 90 lenses lasts a while.
Best to you, Sebastian Black

Eyeglasses are definitely not a problem, and actually a mentalist's tool. They are the mentalist's magic wand: you don't need a pad or pen to justify curling in your fingers. Just peek, take off your glasses and reflect.
All the best, fib |
