Its an old movie so you may not have seen it. A line spoken by the lead actor (iconic, maybe the All Time American Film Icon) in this film was the inspiration for a Buddy Holly song. That may help you get the answer if you search a little.

It's a very famous movie. Thought by many to be the actor and directors best work. Try to figuire out the iconic American actor and then find the Buddy Holly connection. It can be found on the net, I just checked. AMERICAN actor. Iconic.

Never would have got the Searchers. I don't think I ever saw it. I got to check it out the next time it's on AMC.

It's a classic for sure. I believe its on the AFI top 100.
