Richard,
I found That I can do the PCT with a post it note. The sticky side doesn't come into contact durring the tearing process. Additionally, two half pads placed back to back stick to each other and work for COM. I was wondering what your thoughts on post it notes are? |

Michael,
Thanks for your post. I thought I had mentioned that somewhere in my books or videos, but I guess it might have been on a posting here at the Café. Yes, you can do the center tear with post-it notes. The glue makes it seem very fair, but it doesn't interfer with the method one bit. (I use it with the sticky side running from top to bottom and perpendicular to where I draw the line.) You have to make sure that whatever post-it notes you use, try to get ones that don't let the writing show through. The yellow ones can be slightly transparent. Richard |

Richard;
As the CoM has been mentioned, I have done the routine with a thought of design, name and coin regularly since I first learned it. I use a jacket most of the times, (but not always) which is pretty neccesary if you don't want the spectators hands down in your pants' pocket I recently took up using the CoM without the change for the situations when I do not wear a jacket. What I do instead of, is letting the spectator cutting to a card (a crisscross)as the first thing to happen,( to put in some time inbetween) then continuing with the thought of design and name before I end up with the clairvoyance thing on the card. Any thoughts/advice on this? Thanks Sven

Reversing the Post It Notes with CoM! I love that routine but was having trouble finding pads small enough. I never even thought about the Post It Note solution. Brilliant!

I have found that the CT pads that Richard sells at his site are perfect for the COM. I am pretty sure that these are what he used on the DVD. The pads have no cardboard back, so front and back are useable. They are also perfect for the PCT.
As a point of information, Richard's PCT is the first CT which really worked for me. It seems very natural and I prefer the instant read to holding out the corner. Thanks, Richard. Mark Ross |

Thanks Mark. And you're right. The PCT pads are what I use for COM. (Man, too many ititials!) Reminds me of that comics joke, "Hey! Number 57! Ha Ha Ha!"

"I guess that makes sense," the guest answered. "But why is that little fellow in the corner STILL laughing?" "Oh, I guess he's never heard the joke before." *jeep! --Chet (Who helped create acronyms while a 702 TS/A at CPs in the USAF.)
