I saw this at the local hardware store oddly enough. I was VERY tempted to buy it. Here's a picture.
http://www.1ofakindstuff.com/Giant-Lighter.html I was able to hold one of these badboys and let me tell you, they're giant. The lady at the counter said they filled one up and lit it and the thing was like a torch. |

Those have been around for years and I have seen even larger one's used as display only.
You may want to go back and buy one because the day may come that you will find a good use for one and you will be kicking yourself for not getting one when you had the chance. Iven

Ten years ago, I was lucky enough to find one stuck in a remote corner of a magic shop. It was buried under a mountain of other stuff. It had been years since I had one, so I snatched it immediately. The only time prior that I had seen one was when I was a small kid and a saw a clown using one (...a clown lighting cigars with a big Zippo! That tells you how long ago that was!!!).
I saw the ad for these new ones in a Walgreen's ad a couple weeks ago. FYI - I also found in an auto parts store, a refillable butane lighter that looks just like a giant wooden match. Those are cool, too. I like oversized and miniature props for incorporation into magic. Just yesterday I received in the mail, a giant (13" diameter) pocket watch on a chain. It's a vintage piece, it works, it's all metal construction, except the face which is real glass. It's a goody! ~michael

Yesterday at the Mall I saw a GIGANTIC, (and I mean Gigantic!) Shoe...it was made exactly like a real shoe (Sketchers). The guy wouldn't sell it to me. It would be a PERFECT 'Big Foot' Grind Show (for laffs of course). It would be better than see 'The California Red Bats!'
I want that shoe!!!!

I also saw one of these shoes. The one I saw was a huge flip flop sandal type thing. About 3 foot long and 1-2 1/2 foot tall. The thing was HUGE. I thought about trying to buy it off of the store so I could figure out some way to incorporate it into my show because it made you laugh just looking at it! I thought about doing some sort of "Big Foot" joke with it.

I have one of those Match lighters that I use in my shows. I pull it out of a tiny match box and strike it on my shoe (while I push the button). Then I burn a piece of flash paper which turns into a giant bouncy ball that I use to do sleight of hand with and such.
