Dear Richard
First of all, I would like to thank you so much for all your advices you have been giving me, starting from your published products, but even more from your posts here on the café as well as a few private messages. It is seldom that a full-time professional takes so much time to help amateur mentalists like myself. I really enjoy watching you perform your spoon bends, either on MM or on EMMM. I don't perform them often over here as spoons in Switzerland are very solid and require A LOT OF misdirection . Can we expect new "bending" effects with spoons in your new DVDs ? Sincerely, Matt

It seems to me that Richard already told that there will be a new method in the new dvds....

Matt,
I have a couple of new things on the DVD's that I think you will like! There is one were the spoon just bends in your hand. I love this one as it illustrates the type of work I talked about for the Haunted Key. (I also perform that effect) The second is called the "Cutlery Spray". Three forks are examined. You hold them at your fingertips and direct your "force" with your other hand. They all just "droop" over like a wilted flower! This is perfect for a larger group on stage. Richard PS Misdirection is free, so use as much as you need to! |

Man Richard, this sounds fantastic! You keep making it better and better.
Thanks! Scott B.

Oh, I am excited about the Haunted Key. Since reading Richard's suggestion in his trilogy (If you don't have these books, GET THEM!) I changed my thinking about what I'd thought of as a hoary old schtick. Just the other night, I put it in a customer's hand - not concerned at all if it worked or not - and it didn't turn over. It *vibrated* and twitched, and freaked the entire table out!
I can't wait to see what the Osterlind handling looks like! *jeep! --Chet

I immediately started to use it as the first of the bends in my small spoon routine , do it constantly, and I can't stop getting amazed about the spectators reactions when they see it. It's that good! Sven
