Hey people
Just wondering if you guys use the star gazer band to do Crazy Man's Handcuffs prior to your Star Gazer routine... If you do, do you do CMH phase where you do it in the spectator's hands?? |

I would suggest first you do CMH with a regular rubber band and the star rubber band, second you do star gazer, and after you have given the star away pull a second regular rubber band off your wrist and do CMH with the volunteer. That is how I do it.

It doesn't matter I usually do it for a group, as a rule women and little girls like star gazer and men and little boys like CMH. It's a ying and yang thing.

Hello:
I think Juggleral has given you a very nice handling; I'd go with his suggestion if I were you. Ron |

The Godfather comes through again, I do found link and dangeling the star is a new wrinkle that even my wife was impressed with (she doesn't like anything I do).
Thank you Vinny

Thanks juggleral for your input..I shall try that and see how it goes..
anyway, "foundlink and dangling the star band" where can I learn this??? sounds like a trick that can impress people who don't like magic... If it's not too much trouble, may I ask what's the effect ? |

I switch in the star band at the end so I can hand out the regular ones in the beginning. Lead them down the garden path and at the end you turn the hose on them.
I have a one-handed star quicktime video on my site if anyone wants to learn it. http://www.ring170.homestead.com/Rubberband.html

Vinny Marini's web site at http://www.vinnymarini.com he has a DVD where he does Chris Kenners "Missing link" one step better with a one handed display, and I do a similar trick called "found link" by Vince Mendoza which you can see at http://www.flipsideproductions.com/MAGIC/FLRT.htm both tricks take rubber band magic to another level. If you PM Vinny Marini (the godfather) he will send you a video of his "missing link".
Have fun Al

What I mean is that I go thru my routine with 2 regular yellow bands, put one back on my wrist and then do a couple of star shapes with the one band and then take the yellow star band off for stargazer. They never see it coming.

Very cool Mark. I love your idea it is really original, but where can I buy yellow, blue or red #16 regular rubber bands?

CHM is better to start it off in my opinion, but I dong normally perform the effect
Ephes. 2:8-9
For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast. |
