I just got off the phone with Ward Hall, He was sharing some of his
experiences with production company and getting paid. A few years ago a producer contacted him and wanted to do some filming of his show and performers. As always everyone was ask to sign releases. Ward told the folks that were working for him to sign the releases and give them to him. Well the production company finished up their filming and left. A short time later they contacted Chris to get the releases. Chris told them he would send them as soon as they were paid. The producer ask him to send them first. Chris told him lets just forget about the whole thing so there won't be any bad feelings. He told the guy that he would burn all the releases and when they finished the tapes he could burn them. Well the guy contacted his boss, he contacted Chris and made payment. Then Chris faxed him the releases. I really think this is great advise, Hold on to your releases until you are paid. The wisdom of experience. Thank You Ward.
