1)How do you get dust/lint off your closeup pad? I was thinking of buying one of the rollers that you use on your clothes. Think that would work?

2)How do you keep your pad from sliding on the surface of the table? Whenever I try to lap coins or anything from the pad, the pad slides with it and I have to use my other hand to hold the pad in place. When I hold the pad it looks very unnatural. Is it time to get a new pad with more of a rubber type of bottom like the underside of a mouse pad?

What kind of pad would you recommend? Where can this pad be bought? Thanks in advance.

The pad that you are using is probably lacking a good rubber backing.

Good mats will not attract fluff, and do not be afraid to spend a little more for a good mat. It will serve you well for years, and will make a good professional investment.

A lint brush does work well.

Ill most often just pick it off (no I don't spend an hour picking off every little piece of fuzz), or ill just take a deck of cards and using the edge kinda scrape it off. It works fine. And that pad by Trevor sounds TOO good to be true.

Try Michael's Arts & Crafts or other of the same. They have colored mats of a rubbery composition that are useful for close up, can be folded or rolled and come in a varitey of colors for 88 cents each (not the paper mats). Good for cards, shells, cup-n-balls, etc.

Boy do I hate waiting for magic items in the mail. It's still not here :-/

I like the Duffy pads, but the VDF pads are very nice for the price. Rubber backed with a velveteen surface.

My pad stillllll hasent arrived. I even called the place I ordered from. They said they will look into it and if anything is wrong they will email me. I still havent gotten an email. I called a little over a week ago. I ordered about a month and a week ago. This deal is starting to go sour.

Try a pad from Dean Dill... such a woderfoul feeling.

I still havent recieved this pad. I sent them a few emails and every time they say they will have it shipped. I actually just sent them another email today, this is their last chance or I'm taking my business elsewhere.
