Nicholas,
The site belongs to someone in California, USA named Dominick Cancilla. I don't know this person. The site was passed on to me by another magician buddy of mine. My personal favorite was the Zombie explanation! Lyndel |

Here's one that dates back to the 18th century:
Without leaving the room you will take the spire of St John's Cathedral and exchange it with the spire of the Duomo in Milan. With a snap of your fingers they will go back instantly to the place they came from without leaving a trace, although there may be a hairline fissure if examined by experts. |

Write a prediction of a card on a piece of paper ("I predict you will not chose the King of Hearts")fold it and place it in your pocket. Walk up to someone, and say, "Think of a card." After affirming thay have done so, you say, "Was your card the King of Hearts?" They will say "no!" You pull out your paper and open it to reveal, "I predict you will not chose the King of Hearts." When it backfires (1 in 52 times) and they did choose the King of Hearts just don't bring out the paper and you are a miracle.

For well over 15 years I've opened both kids and adult corporate shows with making the coke disappear and it plays very well.
A little imagination is all it takes to turn what some mistakenly think of as a throw away item into a show piece. Just old age and experience is all it takes, HowDini
Question: How did you do that?
Reply: No! How did you didn't do that, HowDini did that. |

Stand right in front of "volunter." Hold out deck of cards, spread.
"Pick a card, any card, and look at it..." As he does so, don't let him put it down, holding your hands up (in his "comfort space") in a display of magic power, saying "Study it very carefully, concentrate, and I'll tell you exactly what card it is ... have you got it firmly in mind?" ["Yes"] Quick as lightning, snatch it from his fingers, openly look at it and tell him what card it is. Okay, it's stupid ... gets laughs for me. |
