Hi guys.
As you all know there are 2 main way to do this stunt: 1) The Rich Marrota's Card To Orange routine method but then the spectator can't sign the bill 2) Let him/her sign the bill and produce it from the lemon as performed by Malini and Bill Malone. The problem is that Mr. Malone's method has some faults (to my opinion) It's not that easy to accomplish the move. Does anyone have an easier method for this IMPROMPTU effect? Have fun Roi |

Dear Roi,
I'm not about to answer your question since we are not allowed to discuss secrets and methods in this forum. But all the inexpensive versions I'm aware of are using one of the methods you've stated. They are audience tested through decades, so just keep testing and practicing. |

Shove your thumbtip in there and pull the bill out...the audience shouldn't know the difference if you added enough misdirection and do it on the relaxation part of a tension and relaxation patter.
(Tension and relaxation was covered in depth by Gary Kurtz on his video Creating MAgic).

Bill Malone's Bill in Lemon is not what I would call impromptu, for secrets I can not give. Think about it. You can buy a bill in lemon knife. Don't know where. I'm still looking for one.

I thought that Mesika(sp?) had a bill to lemon knife, which looked identical to a kitchen knife that my folks have. So check around I am sure thaere is one out there. Also check out Carney's routine it is amazing. As well as David Charvet, he has an entire book dedicated to bill to lemon. I believe that it is out of print but I am sure can find a copy somewhere.
Hope this helps, C |

Bill Malone's BIL routine is funny and fairly easy to do.
The lemon takes a few mins to set up and your all ready to go. I usually prepare a few in advance and leave them in the refridgerator. |

Don't use a limon. Where are you coming across impromtu lemons. Use someones wallet with your TT. Or a box of cards, or cigarettes, etc...

I'm just thinking that you should check out "Hunter's Vitamin C" bill in lemon. To quote; "The Stand-Up, Gaffless, Signed, Bill in Lemon Routine by Rudy T. Hunter"
Do yourself a favor and contact Martini's Magic and get a copy, I love this routine and I kick myself for not thinking of it!! Ray |

Check out martin sanderson's bill to kiwi on his corporate close up dvd
its not impromptu, but as far as the specs are concerned, they pull the signed bill out of a kiwi that has been on the table all along!! easliy worth a bit of prep |

Malone is one of the most successful magicians anywhere... he is only human. If he can do it you can do it. You just need to learn how.

You might try the search function. This topic has been discussed several times before on the Café’. You will find that there more than two methods for a SIGNEed bill to lemon discussed.

I think that a chosen card in a lemon is better as you don't wind up with a sloppy bill to return to someone. It is a baffling effect, finding ANYTHING inside a piece of fruit.
one of the top magicians here in the L.A. area kills with it and does NOT even have a signed or corner match card... LAYMEN do not suspect duplicates. A card, being a certain value, etc. that shows up IS THERE CARD... especially if it has vanished from the deck.
