The Scene and Heard
Half of the audience walked out of "As Worlds Collide," the rock and roll illusions show at the Aladdin's Theatre for the Performing Arts, on opening night Friday. Showgoers tell me the $8 million show came off as amateurish. At one point, a performer was seen climbing into a trapdoor as an illusion box was being lifted. A fake leg was easily seen by the audience during another illusion. ... |

Wow what a bummer.
I was prepared to pay ALOT of money for that. Looks like sadly I made the right move and decided not to go in the last day. What a waste of money. Oh well , that's magic for you. Amateurs with lots of money, poor pros with lots of skills and no connections. The television overhyped it and they didn't live up to what they advertised. Looks like it was their fault afterall. Oh well. |

I saw the show, it truly was the worst thing ever. It made me sad for magic. anyone else see it?
