Yes, I'd go with Ammar's ETMCM volume 2.

I turn the cards inside out first, like in Warped Card, then thumb count to the fourth ace. Do a quadruple turnover, killing any flash with a Marlo Wrist turn. This should resolve the two instead of four issue...
As to the original question, use I.T., this will eliminate any tells... Best, PSC

The method in The Dai Vernon Book of Magic is different from the one usually seen elsewhere. It uses a displacment and a DL from the bottom, if memory serves me, (Not having acces to my library now).

I use the Gemini Count for Daley's Last Trick. It's simple, direct, and effective.

The easiest version I know is a glide straight into a DL ala my man Bill Malone.

Check out Euan Bingham's "Transvestites" for a really cool version of the effect. And two kicker endings. Not too difficult but it does take some proficiency with the boards. This effect can be found in the ebooks "No Prentions" and "Free From Filler". Great ebooks.
P.S. I don't know Euan nor am I associated with the sale of these books. I just like his material.

Bill Duncan has a great version in his Tubthumping notes. The story revolves around a "Dead Man's Hand" using aces and eights and the handling is really quite easy, technically speaking.

It's been out of print for awhile and I just got my copies today. The fact that the handing is easy is a side effect. I wanted a handing that didn't look like you were doing something "tricky". No glides or taking cards from the bottom and then top... |

Thanks for the plug Kevin.... Anytime, Bill. We'll discuss my residuals later. I really do like your handling better than the original. And the storyline gives the plot some motivation other than..."Look, the cards changed places." I just need to find a place for it in my repertoire. I've been using Carney's "Sanverted" when I do Twisting the Aces or other four ace stuff. BTW, let me know when those "Tubthumping" coffee mugs and ice scrapers are available. |
