Well I have been practicing some mapipulations while wearing white cotten gloves, and I am doing alright. I am got a backpalm, pivot, and backpalm production down pat with them on. I can do a split fan alright while wearing them as well. But I am just using some cheap cotton gloves I bought at a drug store. They are pretty loose, which is why I need some recommendations on a site that sells some good quality cotton gloves. I would prefer something that goes down onto the wrist and has a snap or elastic or what have you. Like something you would wear for formal reasons. I would assume I don't have to talk about Cardini for this?

So if you have found a good internet store that sells white cotton gloves with a snap at the wrist or whatever, please let me know.

Joey,
Gloves are tough to get right over the net unless you already know your actual correct size. The way you get that is to go to a formal wear store near you that rents and sells tuxes, etc and try some on! You may also find that you can buy them in person for the same $ as if you ordered. You will need to have an idea about the color or colors you can use with the outfit you are going to wear, etc and remember to buy the very best ones you can find; card manips are tough on dress gloves if done regularly. Good luck.

I have good quality 100% cotton gloves. They are sized. Most Tux shops will sell you one size fits all. Large usually fits most guys ok.

I also know guys that used kid leather gloves for the manipulation as it gave abetter grip and fitted snugger.

I wonder if Geoffery Buckingham's books or videos gives mor information.
